After months of delay, Nillion has officially launched its mainnet, a milestone for one of crypto’s more technically-ambitious privacy networks focused on the market for “blind compute.” The NIL token debuted today on exchanges, including Binance. The mainnet was previously slated for February but the launch slipped into late March due to the need for more time to develop good technology.

Trump-linked WLFI Launches USD1 Stablecoin on BNB Chain

World Liberty Financial, a decentralized finance platform tied to the Trump family, has reportedly launched its USD1 stablecoin on BNB Chain. The deployment was identified by blockchain analytics firm LookOnChain, with test transfers suggested by interactions between the contract and a wallet linked to crypto market maker Wintermute. The stablecoin contract was deployed approximately 20 days ago, according to Binance founder Changpeng Zhao, but there has been no official statement from WLFI or the Trump family. The USD1 contract is publicly visible on BNB Chain’s blockchain explorer. A stablecoin is designed to maintain a stable value, often pegged to a traditional currency like the U.S. dollar.
